This is our story - The Story of Ultimate Betrayal :
It is in 1999, I was staying with my parents and my sister in the
capital city of New Delhi, India. I was in 9th grade and my sister was doing her Masters in Economics in a reputed college.
Immediatly after my sister's 21st birthday my parents started looking for a groom for my sister who is then suffering from
asthma. We had two demands 1. He should be a graduate and he should have a job.
It was a weekend and my boova came to visit us. During the usual
conversation, my mother told her that we are looking for a groom. He immediatly told us about a man working in Planning
Commission. We feel good and asked he take the matter forward. On a sunday morning it happened. The groom
(Mr.mahesh)and my his parents came to our house to see my sister. He was good looking, a graduate from a reputed college
and working in a personal staff of one of the member's of the Planning Commission. My mother asked my
sister about her opinion and it was green flag. The marriage is fixed in the month of July. Since the proposal
came from our boova we didn't enquire more about him.
Couple of weeks later one of my father's friends ( Mr.Saha) came
to visit us and my sister showed her future husband's photo. Immediatly he face gone bad and gone outside and my father
followed him. We know something is wrong. Actually, Mahesh was married before and his first wife died in a house
fire. He was school drop out and working as a poen in Member's office. When ever member leave this office, Mahesh
will also loose his job and Mahesh was 37 years old. We confronted this matter with our boova and she said " A
girl with asthma will get a Prime Minister's Son", and advised us to go forward with this proposal. My father thinks
that this is the "Ultimate betrayal"
Then we registered my sister's name with shaadi.com, within 4 months
my sister got married and now living in Amritsar with her husband and lovely two girls. Her husband is now working as
an Engineer for Punjab government and she is working in MNC. Since 1999, she never had a asthma attack.
After my graduation, I moved to Canada and now found a life partner through Shaadi.com.
